Live TV Player Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Live TV Player app ("Live TV Player", "the app", "we", "us") handles, why, and the choices you have.
Summary
- Live TV Player is a media player. It does not provide, host or sell any content or playlists. You add your own playlists and stream links that you have the right to access.
- There is no account and no sign-in.
- Your playlists, channels, favorites, watch history and settings are stored only on your device.
- The app is free and shows ads. Our advertising, attribution and analytics partners collect device identifiers and usage information, as described below.
- When you play an
http://HLS stream, the stream link is relayed through our streaming proxy server.
1. Information stored only on your device
The following stays on your device and is not sent to us:
- playlists you import (by URL, by choosing a .m3u / .m3u8 file, or by pasting text) and stream links you add;
- channel names, categories and logos taken from those playlists;
- favorites, watch history, search terms and app settings such as language.
When you import a playlist by URL, or play an https:// stream or a video file, your device connects
directly to the server you entered. That server is not operated by us and handles your request under its own
policies.
If Android backup is turned on, Android may include this data in your personal Google backup. That backup is controlled by you and Google, not by us.
You can delete this data at any time by removing playlists or channels in the app, clearing the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the app.
2. Information collected when you use the app
2.1 Advertising
Live TV Player shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may also request ads from these mediation partners: Meta Audience Network, Liftoff (Vungle) and Pangle. To show, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud, these services may collect:
- device identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID and app set ID;
- approximate location derived from your IP address;
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version);
- interactions with ads (impressions, clicks) and diagnostic or crash information about their SDKs.
Ads in Live TV Player are limited to content suitable for teenagers (maximum ad content rating "T"). Adult-only ads are not shown.
2.2 Analytics, attribution and app configuration
- Firebase Analytics (Google): app usage events, such as which onboarding screens were viewed and which ads were shown, with app instance identifiers, device information and coarse location derived from your IP address.
- Firebase Remote Config (Google): downloads app and ad settings, using a Firebase installation identifier.
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google): if the app crashes, a crash report with the stack trace, device model, OS version, app version, a Firebase installation identifier and recent ad and configuration events of the app, so we can fix the problem.
- Adjust: install attribution and ad-revenue measurement, using the Advertising ID, app set ID, install referrer, device information and IP address.
- Meta App Events (Facebook SDK, Meta Platforms): measures installs and app launches that come from our ads on Facebook and Instagram. It starts when the app opens and sends app events such as installs and app launches, the Android Advertising ID, device information (model, operating system, language, time zone) and your IP address to Meta. It is not used for any login or sharing feature.
2.3 Streaming proxy
Many older http:// HLS links cannot be played directly on current Android versions. For those links
only, the app sends the link to our proxy server, operated by us on Cloudflare. The proxy fetches the stream and
passes it back to your device. It receives the stream link you added, your IP address and standard request headers.
These requests are processed only to deliver the stream. https:// links and video files are never sent
through the proxy.
2.4 Feedback after a low rating
If you rate the app 1 to 4 stars, you may type a short comment. The rating, a reason code and up to 100 characters of your comment are sent to Firebase Analytics so we can improve the app. Please do not include personal information in this comment.
2.5 Casting
When you cast, the app sends the stream link to the Google Cast device on your local network, and that device plays it directly. On Android 13 and later the app asks for the "Nearby Wi-Fi devices" permission only to discover Cast devices; it is not used to determine your location.
3. How we use information
- to show and measure ads, which keep the app free;
- to understand how the app is used, fix problems and improve features;
- to attribute installs and measure ad revenue;
- to play the streams you choose (proxy);
- to detect fraud and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Advertising partners receive data as described in section 2.1; some laws, such as certain US state laws, may treat this as "sharing" or "selling" for targeted advertising. The choices in section 5 apply.

5. Your choices and rights
Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland and other regions where required)
Before personalized ads are shown, the app asks for your consent using Google's User Messaging Platform. You can review or change your choice at any time in Settings › Privacy choices.
Advertising ID
You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization, in your Android device settings (for example Settings › Google › Ads, or Settings › Privacy › Ads).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom under the GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because the app has no accounts, data can only be identified by device identifiers. To make a request, email hajuuproh@gmail.com.
6. Data retention
Data stored on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Data collected by our partners is kept according to their own policies. Proxy requests: see section 2.3.
7. Security
All data the app sends to us and to our partners is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
8. Children
Live TV Player is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, contact us and we will help.
9. Content you add
Live TV Player does not provide or sell any content. Users add playlists they have the right to access. We do not review, host or control third-party content, and you are responsible for the playlists and links you add.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
